Tree Trimming in Crockett's Ridge, Apex NC

Two large front-yard shade trees were trimmed at a home in the Crockett's Ridge community of Apex, NC.

This project in the Crockett's Ridge community of Apex, NC involved two large shade trees in the front yard of a two-story brick home, one on each side of the house near the driveway and front walk.

In the before photo, both trees have full, dense canopies. A crew member in a helmet and high-visibility shirt is at the front of the house, and a chipper is parked at the curb. In the after photo, both trees are still standing with lighter, more open canopies, and the driveway, sidewalk and street are clear.

Trimming large shade trees close to a home generally focuses on clearance and balance: keeping limbs off the roof, opening up the canopy and removing dead wood, while leaving enough healthy canopy for the tree to stay strong.

If large trees in front of your Apex home have grown dense or are reaching toward the roof, we can look at them in person and explain your trimming options.
