Choosing the Right Service
Remove the tree or trim it?
Many trees with a few dead or overhanging limbs can be kept with careful trimming. Trees that are dead, badly decayed, split by storm damage or leaning more each year toward a house are usually better candidates for removal. If you are not sure which applies, a tree condition assessment gives you an honest, on-site answer.
What about the stump?
Removal leaves a stump unless you ask for it to be ground. Stump grinding takes it below grade so the area can be mowed, seeded or replanted, and it can be done on the same visit as the removal or on its own for older stumps.
Emergency service or storm cleanup?
If a tree is on a house, blocking the only way in or out, or hanging over a walkway, that is an emergency, and our 24/7 emergency line is the right call. Storm cleanup is the follow-up: cutting up and hauling away fallen wood, taking down broken limbs and clearing debris once the immediate danger is handled.
Opening up land
For overgrown areas, yard expansions and small homesites up to about one acre, land and lot clearing removes trees, brush and stumps, and rough grading levels the cleared ground for the next step of your project.
